Vanity Cabinet Painting near Denver

Our Vanity Cabinet Painting Process

  1. We mask off the work area to protect your home or business.
  2. We setup our fume exhauster to control/reduce the dust and odor.
  3. We remove all the hardware and number the doors/drawers so we know what goes where.
  4. We thoroughly clean and degrease all of the cabinet surfaces.
  5. We de-gloss all the cabinet surfaces to prepare the surface for painting.
  6. We make any needed repairs.
  7. We spray on multiple coats of vinyl sealer which adds moisture and heat resistance.
  8. We spray on multiple coats of tinted lacquer in the color of your choice.
  9. We spray on clear lacquer to make the surface more scratch resistant.
  10. We re-install the hardware and re-hang and adjust the doors/drawers.
  11. We remove all the masking materials and clean up the work area.
  12. We do a walkthrough to show you your “new” vanity and go over the 10 year warranty.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if we don’t want to see the grain of the wood after you paint our vanity cabinet?

Then you’d want to ask us to include grain filling in our quote. While the vinyl sealer we use will fill the grain to a degree. It will not completely fill it unless we apply an actual grain filler prior to painting. That is an added step and cost. As not everybody wants or needs that.

Do I have to take everything out of my vanity cabinet?

Yes you do but it’s a great time to go through and donate, recycle, or dispose of what is no longer useful.

How long after you finish before we can use our vanity cabinet?

We’d ask you to give it 24 hours to dry properly before using it again.
